The Magic Numbers – After the concert
昨晩のThe Magic Numbersのコンサートは最高でした。めちゃくちゃ楽しかった〜。バンクーバーの観客がすごい盛り上があがったということで、新曲の初お披露目もしてくれました。アンコールにはビヨンセの「Crazy in Love（♪オッオー、オッオー、オッオー、オオオ♪っていうやつ）」をカバー。「なっ、なんで、ビヨンセなのよ？」と思いましたが、Magic Numbers風にアレンジされていてとてもかっこよかったです。 またバンクーバーに来てね〜! My mum’s photos…

The Japan film show
日本総領事館が主催で、ジャパン・フィルム・ショーがバンクーバーにて１１月１９日（土）開催されます。入場無料。英語での字幕あり。上映映画は「黒い雨」と「座頭市」。どちらもまだ観てない作品。 カムループスでも、「どら平太」と「ウォーターボーイズ」が１１月２０日（日）上映されます。個人的には「ウォーターボーイズ」見たいんですが、カムループスまで見に行くのはちょっと遠いです。 詳細は日本総領事館ＨＰにて。 The Consulate General of Japan is sponsoring the Japan Film Show, which takes place in Vancouver on Saturday, November 19th. The Rocky Horror Picture Show
昨日はハロウィーンだったので、The Rocky Horror Picture Showを観に行ってきました。１０年前に初めて見ました。今年は３０周年らしいです。ロンドンでは今でも毎週末上映されています。観客が参加するカルトミュージカル映画で、最初観た時は何をしたら良いかわかりませんでした。観客はセリフを言います。例えば、スーザン・サランドンがスクリーンに出てきたら、スクリーンに向かって「スラット（売春婦）！」と叫びます。スクリーンの前では、地元の俳優達が映画を再現します。 It was Halloween yesterday and we went to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Les Bourgeois de Calais
フランス最後の日はカレーに泊まった。カレーは寂びれた港町。唯一観たかったのはカレー市庁前にあるロダンの傑作「カレーの市民」。 （以下ウィキペディア要約）百年戦争時、1347年イギリスはカレーの町を包囲した。イギリスは最も有力な6人の市民に城壁の鍵を持たせ、彼らの命と引き換えに包囲を解いて、市民たちの命を助けると要求した。裸足のまま、帽子は被らず、首に縄を巻き、自らの命を投げ出したのがこの彫刻の６人の市民。彼らは処刑されるはずだったが、結局最後にはイギリス女王によって命は救われた。 この彫刻の注文主のカレー市は英雄的な彫刻の作成を依頼しましたが、ロダンはこれを無視し、死を前にした英雄たちの、おそれや苦悩を表現しました。 We stayed at Calais on the last day in France. フランスで一番おいしかったと思ったジュース、Lorina。 ラムネみたいな味がした。 The best pop in France (we think) is called Lorina. It tasted like Japanese lemonade.
