快晴の天気が続いているバンクーバーですが、昨日の夕方は雲が現れて綺麗でした。 今晩はバンクーバーでCritical Mass があります。これは１９９０年にサンフランシスコで始まったイベントで、毎月自転車で市の主要道路を集団になって走り、サイクリストの権利を主張します。バンクーバーでは6月が自転車に乗ろう月間となっているので、今月のCritical Massがバンクーバーでは一番大きいものとなります。午後6時にVancouver Art Gallery (Georgia Street側)を出発するので、行きましょう！ It has been fine weather in Vancouver but we had some beautiful clouds in the afternoon. 第22回Vancouver Sun Run 10KMマラソンに今年も出場しました。Sun Runはカナダで一番大きな１０ＫＭマラソンで、今年は約５万１千人が集まりました。私の会社チームは３度目の参加となりました。私と夫は去年より２分遅い57分でゴールしました。ちょっとトレーニングサボってたのが悪かったみたいです。母も85分でゴールしました。今年は天気に恵まれました。 I participated in the 22nd Vancouver Sun Run 10km marathon. スタンレー公園の桜が見頃だったので、友達とお花見に行ってきました。 Ohanami means cherry blossom viewing in Japanese. Since cherry blossoms in Stanley park were in full bloom, we went for a picnic with friends to see it. お弁当も作って、みんなで食べました（写真有り難う！）。なぜか「たくあん」が人気でした。こちらでは公園での飲酒は禁止されていますので、お花見に行く前にみんなでワインを飲み貯めして行きました。この日は８０％の降水確率でしたが、雨が降らなかったので本当にラッキーでした。 I made the lunch box and we ate it together (Thanks … Continue reading →
