私が住んでいるスタンレーパーク周辺はWest Endと呼ばれています。スタンレーパークは４００ヘクタールの面積で、東京ドーム約８５個分の広さ。この公園には何百年もたった原生林がそのまま残されています。写真右側の森がスタンレーパーク。緑で囲った部分がWest Endです。
The area I live in is called the Westend. Stanley park is 400 hectares, which is about 85 of the Tokyo domes. Some trees in the park are few hundred years old. In the right hand side of this picure is the park and the area highlighted in light green is the West End.

I took this picture from my office window.
こんなに大きい公園があるので、West Endにはりすくん達がたくさん住んでいます。昨日、母が家に来て、あまりのりすの多さにシャッターを切ってしまったそうです。
Because there are so many squirrels in this park, my mother could not resist the opportunities to take pictures of the squirrels living in the Westend.
りすくん１:「なんですの？」
Squirrel 1 : “What do you want?”
りすくん２:「どいてくれへんかったら、この小石投げるで。」
Squirrel 2 : “If you don’t move away from where you are I’m gonna throw this small pebble to ya.”
りすくん３:「今いそがしねんけど。じゃ、ポーズ。」
Squirrel 3: “I am very busy but I will pose for you.”
