イングランドのブライトン出身のBritish Sea PowerがKillersの前座に出るので、見に行ってきた。会場は高校生らしき若者でいっぱい。到着した時はBritish Sea Powerの演奏、半分ぐらい終わってるし〜(T0T)。試聴はこちらで。
We went to see British Sea Power who are from Brighton, England and they played as an opening performer of the Killers. The venue was filled with lots of high school teenagers. When we got there, British Sea Power had already finished half of their songs (T0T). You can listen to their music here.
Killersは、ラスべガス出身。登場するとものすごい歓声。Killersの音楽はイギリスの８０年代の音楽にとても影響されている。特に、New Orderの音楽にとても似ている。デビット・ボウイにも影響され、コンサートでもカバー曲”Moonage Daydream”を歌った。ボーカル兼キーボードのBrandon Flowersはモルモン教なのに、タバコをすったり、アルコールを飲んでいたそうな! 今は子供がいるので止めたみたい。試聴はこちら。
The Killers are from Las Vegas. As soon as they appeared, a huge cheer arouse. Their music is influenced by 80’s British music. It’s very similar to New Order’s music. They are also influenced by David Bowie and they sang a cover song called, “Moonage Daydream”. Brandon Flowers, who is the vocalist and the keyboadist, is a Mormon but he used to smoke cigarretts and drink alcohol! He has quit them now since he got children. You can try their music here.
