1979年Walter Hill監督の「The Warriors」を見た。アメリカン・コミックのような映像で、A Clockwork Orange（邦題：時計じかけのオレンジ）のアメリカ版といった雰囲気。あらすじは紀元前４世紀頃に書かれた、古代ギリシャの軍人、著述家であるクセノポンの著作、「アナバシス」に基づいている。舞台はニューヨーク、ストリートギャングのWarriors（ 写真）がNYギャングのリーダーCyrusを銃殺した疑いで、途轍もない数のギャングから追いかけられる。ギャングごとにユニフォームが違っていて、見ていて楽しかった。暴力的なシーンが多々あるが、タランティーノのようにグロくない。今では、この映画の暴力的なゲームがある。それはちょっと哀しいな。もっと哀しいことは、映画に出ていた俳優達が、声優としてゲームに出ていること。
この映画を貸してくれた夫の友人は、Warriorsのベストを作って、それを着てハロウィーンパーティに行ったらしい。かっちょええ。
We watched “The Warriors” which was directed by Walter Hill in 1979. The image is like American comics, and the atmosphere is like American version of “A Clockwork Orange”. The plot is based on Greek soldier and writer, Xenophone’s “Anabasis” which was written around 4th century BC. The film is set in New York. The street gang, the Warriors (photo), was suspected they shot a leader of the entire NY gang, Cyrus, and chased by incredeble numbers of the gangs in NY. It was fun to see gang’s uniforms which were different in each gang. There were many violent scenes but not grotesque like Trantino’s. Now a violent game of this film, which is bit sad, but more sad thing is the voices in the game is dubbed by the actors in the film.
My husband’s friend who lend us this film made the Warriors’ vest, and went to a Halloween party with the vest. Cool.

おはようございます！
まだ、見てない映画ですね．．「時計じかけのオレンジ」は懐かしいですね
最近は、映画をゲームにするのですね．．これも制作費稼ぎなんで
しょうか．．．殺人ゲームは、子供の世界にひずみを作っているだけです．．反省が必要ですね．．
☆humsumさん、「時計じかけのオレンジ」も映像がユニークでしたよね。
内容はちょっと精神的にダメージを受けた箇所もありましたが。
ほんとに、殺人、バイオレンスゲームは現実的ではありませんね。
何か違うことにエネルギーを費やしてほしいもんです。
なんか、チビ弟への愚痴みたいになってしまいました。
ほんとはゲームを作った商業主義の大人達が悪いんですよね。
