Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand is a band from Glasgow in Scotland. Everybody graduted from an art achool. They made this band in 2001 to create music to let chicks dance. Last year they received 2 Brit Awards (similar to American Grammy Award), British Rock Act Award and British Group Award, and now they are superstars. Apparently David Bowie went to their live in New York. We went to their live concert in Vancouver last year, and they were soooo cooool. I love their music. You can listen to the music here

I misread the time this morning. I gave my honey a hard time to hurry to leave the house together, and I e-mailed my office saying, “Sorry, I will be late for half an hour.” When I got to the office, somehow there are only few staffs who start working from 8:30 am. At this time, I thought it was 9:30 am. Other staffs arrived. I thought, “Oh, everybody is late today.” and started to work. Then one staff said, “Chilco, why did you send an e-mail saying you were going to be late for 30 minutes? You arrived at half past eight.”

I thought, “What the heck is he talking about?” and looked at my watch and found it was 9 am!

“Doh! I misread the time for one hour!”, as soon as I said this, everybody pissed themselves. I got blushed. Stupid of me!

I called my honey to say sorry.

  3. chilco says:

  4. chilco says:

  5. Mrs. K. says:

I am happy to hear your story! It made me laugh because it's funny – and also because I did something stupid today, too.

I was driving around downtown with my volunteer, going everywhere. Up one street, down another. There's a one-way, not going the way I needed to go. Now I'm getting frustrated. I drove up Nelson (I think), then made a left on Pender. I approached a red light and thought, "Hmmm, something here seems strange" That's when I saw that there was a car on the other side of the red light, in what I thought was MY LANE – but it was HIS LANE! I was driving on the wrong side of the road!

  6. chilco says:

Mrs. K, then what happend!? Did you smile at him?

Or you needed to turn 180 C turn around on Pender?

  7. chilco says:

The person next to me said "how did you get out of that one?"

  8. Mrs. K. says:

Fortunately, there was enough time and space to make my way into the correct lane. I wasn't first in line at the light – more like third.

I didn't smile at him – I was too busy being embarrased with my volunteer! She was saying, "it's okay, it's okay!" once we got into the right lane. I was freaking out a little.

Mr. K. and I were wondering why your honey didn't say, "Honey – it's only 8 o'clock, why are you rushing?"

  9. chilco says:

☆Mrs. K, we can picture you freaking out a bit (*v*).
Thank God, you didn't have an accident!

I asked the same question to my honey!
He said I was too scary to say anything, which I understood.

  12. crojiroo says:

  13. chilco says:

  14. chilco says:

  15. chilco says:

  16. humsum says:

  17. chilco says:

  18. humsum says:

  19. chilco says:

  20. humsum says:

  21. chilco says:
