在バン・ブロガー　オフ会　デビュー！ 所謂「オフ会」という集まりに参加した。この言葉を聞いたとき、ウィキペディアに行って、「オフラインミーティング」という意味だということが分かった。ふむふむ。バンクーバーに住んでいるブロガーの方々、yukunさん, toonieさん, green_doriさん, cheery_sheepさんに会った。その日は残業で、その集まりに２０分も遅れてしまった。Yale townにある日本料理のカフェバー汁べゑまで走る走る。このバーのことはよく聞いていたが、行ったことなかった。とってもおっされーなとこで、ウェイターやウェイトレスもキュートだった。(どこ見とん！) I went to a meeting, so called “Off-kai”. リッチモンド市から畑を借りている。賃貸料は１年間４０ドル。文句のない価格でしょ？大きさは３ｍｘ７ｍ。前の畑には２０１０年冬季オリンピックのためにスピードスケート用リンクが建つので、新しく作られたコミュニティガーデンへお引越し。昨日は自分の畑の場所を決めに行った。母は自分が欲しかった場所が取れたので満足してたみたい。あと２週間程で畑は農作業が出来るようになる。母は何を植えようかと興奮気味だった。 We rent a garden lot from Richmond city. カナダのDIYセンターはすごい。メガでかい！北米人は大抵なんでも自分でやってしまう。昨日は友人夫婦がベットルームの絨毯をフローリングに変えるので、材料を買いに行った。家を建てるのにないものはないという程の品揃え。ドアまで売ってるよ。 Canadian DIY shops are amazing. Mega huge!
